Well, the LA Premiere of Male Order was quite thrilling. It felt great to see the picture up on the big screen, where it belongs. It was part of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (the most convoluted title of all time) and I met many great people at the festival. Response was good and hopefully the New York Premiere will be even better. Thanks to Leigh Anne for her incredible help, along with Marina, Kris, the Wills Clan, and the Pittmans. Also thanks to Anoo Cottoor, Frank Munoz, Karl Jacob and Briege McGarrity. And new friends Noah Rappaport (and his father Mark), Chris Zwiezbinski, Geoff Plauger and Yelena Demikovsky. And thanks to everyone else who showed up. All of you made this a great Premiere! Aside from all the great people mentioned above, I also had the pleasure of meeting some real people like Ben and Jerry Stiller, Rod Steiger, Karen Black, Lisa Bonet, Simon Boone, Robert Englund and last but not least... the lovely Katherine Towne, whom I helped move some furniture for. I invited all these people to my screening and none of them showed. That is Hollywood! We were sat next to Angelica Houston, Joe Esterhaus and Wes Anderson at one point as well. But no one had the nerve to talk to them. A typical night in LA. We also met some crack heads, junkies and whores. If there is one thing this trip made me realize though, it's that we're all whores. Aren't we? Besides that, I saw the mountains, the ocean and some great Hollywood handprints. Here are some pictures from the premiere and the trip....
